Par-tay!

We had an early birthday celebration for Jackson last night since we are going to be travelling the day of his actual birthday. All of Jackson's favorite friends came over and ate cake and ice cream with us. I had fun making this Happy Birthday garland to hang for his birthday. Jackson had help from Eli, Rae, and Shanelle opening his present from them- fun John Deere tractors. Eli has promised to teach Jackson all there is to know about tractors as his mother is obviously hopeless in that department. Looks like the education has begun!

This is Caleb and Levi helping Jackson open the present that they gave him- a super fun set of John Deere keys and flip open cell phone. You can tell we live in farm country with the John Deere theme going on! He already loves the cell phone because it is just like mine with the flip open thing. It will hopefully save my cell phone some wear and tear in the coming months! All of our fun friends crammed into our little house- The Raines', Rosenbooms, and Stobs.
This was Jackson's outfit after the cake eating. We probably should have stripped him down before hand, but you live, you learn. He walked around the house the rest of the evening in his diaper and shoes. Nice. Check out the cake eating video below.
