Jackson's 1st Concert

This past weekend there was the LifeLight Christian Music Festival in Sioux Falls. It's apparently quite the big deal- a weekend long affair with lots of concerts and big names. We have never been before so Sunday night we went with Randy and Ally and all the kids and it was actually pretty neat. We didn't get there until late (about 8:30- sad what time "late" has become!), but Jackson just loved listening to the loud music and watching all the people. He was clapping and dancing and waving his hands in the air. Todd and I are slightly concerned that we could have a pentecostal on our hands! This is a really crappy picture of the stage on the left and the big screen that they had going so you could actually see what was going on.
Jackson was quite enthralled with the noise and lights up on the stage. He also liked to try to "sing along".And this is a picture we caught on the way to Sioux Falls. Jackson's latest way to entertain himself in the car is to put things on top of his head and see how long they stay there and then he laughs like crazy when they roll off. I promise, this golf ball kept him busy for at least 30 minutes on the way there!
